OEL-HydroSys is dedicated to the provision of engineering and project management services to the waterpower and hydraulic structures industry. Our involvement ranges from early-stage conceptual planning to complete design and construction management services, as well as support for on-going operations.

Our business is advising clients on all matters related to hydroelectric project design, construction, commissioning and operation; dam safety & structural engineering analyses; and the related areas of environmental assessment and regulatory approvals. Our team includes specialists in all of the disciplines required for each of these areas of service.

Our clients are waterpower developers and operators, municipalities and conservation authorities, government agencies at all levels, dam owners, and others interested in renewable energy or hydraulic structures.

The principals and senior staff of OEL-HydroSys are recognized experts in the various fields of engineering and project management required for the successful implementation of highly complex waterpower projects. We have been involved in over 250 waterpower projects in Canada, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and elsewhere around the world, and have worked exclusively in this field for over twenty-five years.

OEL-HydroSys is a member company within the WESA group, with 9 offices across Canada and a total staff of roughly 125 professionals, technicians and support staff. We offer services in English, French and Spanish.
